Ok i've just spent 3 hours soloing UW and i havn't got 1 ecto, im sure it can't just be cause im really really really unlucky the norm is atleast 1 ecto per run right? im sure i read that ecto weren't effected by that stupid update and the farming code was removed right?

your probably having badluck. in 3hours ive gotten 26ectos

It's all just luck really. It would be nice to be guaranteed 1 ecto a run, but that's not always the case. I've gone multiple runs with no ecto drop, but then again I've done 5 runs and gotten 12 ecto before. Just keep at it, it will pay off in the end.

Lets put it like this:

Its possible to get an ecto from every monster that drops one in UW.
Its possible to get next to no drops at all from every monster in UW.

Its random/luck.

thanks, ye i know its random and that but for 3 hours not even 1 i don't have a never ending supply of money to keep on re-enetering and runs don't pay for themselves with drops anymore

other question, whats happening with the ectos? they are worth 7 or 7.5k at the trader .......

No AoE scatter = Faster Farming = Faster ectos = More ectos = Lower price.

And since many other popular farming places have been nerfed, more ppl are in UW.
